Mastercard Great Lady Golf Commercial
As the proud father of two girls who are becoming exceedingly good at golf, I have now found a new favorite commercial (click "View Commercial"), put out by the folks at Mastercard.
It's very subtle, but there's so much about what people love about golf here: the look on her face - both when she unexpectedly chips in and when she nails the final drive - says so much about golf. Good acting, too.

I agree. This is an excellent ad. Priceless expressions, body language, enthusiasm, photography AND from a marketing standpoint it communicates a positive, memorable image of the product quite well.

As I am learning the frustrating, excruciating, painful, BEAUTIFUL game of golf, I knew exactly what she was feeling in both of those shots.
It just doesn't happen to me all that often.
On the other end of the misery spectrum, my post later today will ask just how the hell can I get rid of my "glancing blow?" I'm quite strong, and can swing a club quite fast, yet I cannot hit very far. A clue to this must lie with the fact that my shots spin right (sometimes violently).
